Pepsi Opens New Production Line in Jamaica

Pepsi Cola Jamaica, PCJ, has opened a new production line in the country. PCJ says this marks a transformative step towards doubling its production capacity and further reinforcing its position as an industry leader in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. The company says the US $30 million state-of-the-art facility will enable PCJ to meet the growing demand for its diverse beverage portfolio, including iconic brands Pepsi, D&G, energy drinks Adrenaline Power and Blast, Ocean Spray flavoured water, and Tropics. It says the new production line is poised to bolster Jamaica’s role as the Caribbean hub for PCJ’s extensive portfolio of products. Currently, PCJ exports to nine Caribbean countries, as well as the UK, US, Belize and Canada. Speaking on Tuesday at the official opening ceremony at the plant’s Spanish Town Road location in St Andrew, PCJ Transformation Manager, Anecia Levy, emphasised that the expansion extends beyond the company’s production capabilities to sustainability and responsible business practices…Read more
