After some Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users complained of an unexpected battery issue, Samsung confirmed the problems on Monday. However, the South Korean tech giant argued that very Galaxy Note 8 phones were affected by the battery problems. Some Galaxy Note 8 users had complained that their devices won’t turn on after the battery had been completely depleted. Reports of the issue first surfaced in late December and now Samsung has finally acknowledged the issue, saying that only a limited number of units were affected. Samsung said in a statement, “Samsung is taking all reports of this kind seriously, we only received a very small number of customer inquiries that could be linked to charge management, and unfortunately, we can only comment on the matter further.” However, it remains unclear what’s causing the strange battery issue or how it can be prevented.
